Piano/Vocal Contract

1. Tuition is due the first lesson of every month unless other arrangements have been made with me.

2. Any days a student misses from illness or vacation will not be prorated or refunded from monthly tuition. Try to plan vacation days around your student's piano/vocal lesson to achieve the most from piano/vocal lessons. All national holidays will be observed.

3. Please do not bring your child to their lesson if he/she has an illness. If your child suffers from an illness the night before their lesson, please do not bring them to their lesson the next day. Give your child 24 hours to recover. I will call a parent to come and pick up their child if he/she has the following:
-fever
-diarrhea
-vomiting
-rash
-pink eye

4. Please drop your child on-time and pick them up promptly. There are usually lessons scheduled before and after your child so if your child is dropped late, their lesson will be shortened. Your child can sit quietly and wait for you if you are late to pick up.

5. To ensure your child's safety, please let me know if someone other than yourself is going to pick them up from their lesson. I will not release your child to someone I am not familiar with.

6. I expect your child to be respectful and to be on task. They are welcome in my front room where the piano is located. They are welcome into the rest of my home if I invite them. Please allow my family to have their privacy while I teach. I will let the student and their parent know if there is a problem. If the problem persists, we will have to decide what course of action to take.

7. If you plan to remove your child from piano/vocal lessons, a 30-day notice must be given. If a 30-day notice is not given, you are still responsible for the month's tuition.
